Paris: 24hrs of Perfection

Social Media is not helping. Emily in Paris  makes it worse. Sadly I will not be going this summer. Why? To start, I want to avoid the large summer crowds. I am a big boy, and the thought of no AC is giving me a heatstroke. To top it all off, I am a corporate baddie with PTO limitations. Ugh...     The Eiffel Tower  from the 6th Metro Line,  Photo by @doucer_a_paris  on Instagram BUT!!!!! If I do go, this is how I would spend my first 24 hours.                                                                                                The Hoxton Lobby,  Photo by thehoxton.com  Where to Stay: The Hoxton  I am a sucker for boutique hotels! Most have incredible service (check the reviews,) and they are curated to have a concentration of the city's style. Does that

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Image
Good morning Baddies! I am craving another weekend getaway trip. My last post on Puerto Vallarta was a pre-trip. I never got around to post what I actually did there. I have been craving this beach town more and more. Can you blame me? This sunset kills! I know it is Spring Break season and this place gets the attention it deserves. So book fast ;)  I stayed at the Sheraton Buganvillas, and I love it here. They have different packages, like an all inclusive stay, or a regular stay. I came to relax and explore the town and look at it through a Foodie's POV. Therefore, I took the regular route. The location here is a plus, super close to downtown.  Puerto Vallarta has fantastic food! Obvi, tacos transport you to heaven, but you know I am a total sucker for a fabulous brunch. Which brings me to my favorite brekky/brunch spot. Freddy's Tucan in DTPV is my go to, every time I am in town I have to eat here. The food has so much flavor, it is fresh, and colorful. Their espresso is s

Material Gworl!- a no budget wishlist

My daddy is not Elon Musk, so at the moment I am on a budget, as all chic Baddies are. This post is a manifest/vision board/wish list post. So I am putting it out in the universe, so I can get my cute hands on.  These items are in no particular order, simply just listed in a sparkly order. From chic to chic.  Max Mara's Teddy Bear Icon Coat ($3,790.00) Come on! This coat is just ICONIC! a Max Mara coat will last a lifetime with its decadent silhouettes. This piece makes my mouth water. I can see this coat in my arsenal for decades to come. Simply imagine strolling the streets of New York in search of cute coffee shops, wearing this coat. UGH! I need this to live!  Gucci Bamboo 1947 mini top handle bag ($2,650.00) TBE!- Tiny Bag Energy. As one of my favorite YouTubers, Cassie Thorpe, calls it. This gorgeous minimal bag just makes me **hgsdlifghjlsdfghiare** It is so cute, fun, edgy, and elegant with a hint of in your face  for a strap! I cannot EVEN! **Screams in Baddie** Ok! I wil

Battle of the SPFs

****Disclaimer! As long as you are wearing SPF, it doesn't matter which one is your favorite! Luckily I have a good obsession, and that is to protect my dewy-glasslike skin! We all know the harms of the sun, and I am here to block dem death rays.    I am so grateful that we are gifted new formulas in sunscreens! Ugh! Remember when all we had were bottles with white goop that was sticky and felt so heavy and dense on the skin?  It was the worst feeling to put it on, and that was just on vacation to the beach. Imagine for everyday use? Well, now sunscreen use on the daily is not as bizarre as it was back then. Companies have noticed its raise in use, therefore creating nicer formulas. The sunscreens I am reviewing are the ones I use on my face.                               Neutrogena's Invisible Daily Defense Face Serum SPF 60+ OMG! This is a solid sunscreen! Affordable, light, and water resistant up to 80 minutes. I have combo skin and I sweat a lot, so it is consistent. It l

Glitter on the Floor

It has been more than a hot minute, but I have a totally solid excuse; I simply was trying to survive. Your gorgeous boy is not just a gorgeous boy, he is a 9 to 5 gorgeous boy. I know! I am shocked as you are! It does not stop there. The Holidays kicked my ass, I am a single dog-dad, and I binge-watched Emily in Paris  2 times. So it has been wild! I feel like I woke up the next day on the floor covered in last night's glitter after a glorious soiree. Before my anxiety kicks in, I need to remember that life happens and we are not always our best self. All we can do is keep up and stabilize. Only then, we can create space to grow.  This loosely  quoted message came up on my IG and I think it was a sign sent from our Lord Paris Hilton. I hate motivational quotes, I find them cheugy. However this one hit hard. I am always working on myself and on projects and it feels never ending at times. Maybe focusing on what I have and who I am right now, I can create more material that aligns

24 Hours in Austin, TX

Image
Phone, Check! Wallet, Check!   Lip gloss, Check! Let’s hit it!   Y’all, the first city in this series is Texas’ capital, Austin. I love visiting Austin for 4 mouth-watering reasons; food, coffee, greenery, and beautiful shirtless joggers. There is so much to see, eat and do, but I was able to put together a great escape.   Revival Coffee was my first stop. When I found about it during my previous trip to Austin, I wasn’t able to go. I was devastated, so I promised myself that I would visit next time I’d be in the city. Well! It’s next time, and I got there the moment I landed.   Let me tell you! I AM DECEASED! Everything is pink with neon signs. You might think I love it just for the aesthetic, but bisssshh the coffee is so good, smooth, and strong. I got myself An Iced Demi Latte with vanilla. I was so impressed! most times the looks are better than the coffee, not this time. As I sipped on my yummers caffeinated liquid, I took bomb selfies, and you bet your ass it went to IG. Sorry n

24 Hr Travel Challenge

24 Hr Travel Challenge   Y’all! I have a confession to make!   Your boy got himself a cute little 9-5. I KNOW! It’s a little unlike me, but I love it! I get to be cute and sassy. I   feel so professional, however, I understand the need to take a break that I hear people say so much.   I don’t understand why majority of the US only gets 2 weeks of vacation, PER YEAR! (Ugh,) That is a tantrum for another article. I’ve met amazing people through work and I love to share everything about me, my hobbies and views of life. Along with this I always get “I wish I could visit these places,” so I ask what is stopping them. Apparently it’s time itself. This inspired me to go on a 24 Hr trip without the use of vacation. I am cheating a little because these 24 hours do not include travel time. My timer starts the moment I jump off the plane at my final destination to my last activity before my drive back to the airport.   My first destination is… Austin, Texas! My sunnies are in my bag, along wit
