Reflect & Hydrate

It has taken me a lot of years to finally feel I can control my mind and my body. I am 26 years young and at last I have a sense of who I am, what I love, who I love, what I care for, and what I truly don’t. There is an unapologetic, happy, and gorgeous guy looking back at me in the mirror. I recognize the flaws and the strengths in my journey on this violently beautiful planet.   There is a change in attitude in today’s post because I want to share with you where I stand. I had a horrendous week last week. I felt overwhelmed and anxious due to school and my progress towards my goals. I saw the mountain that I had to climb and panicked. In the past couple of years I learned to step back and see the big picture when I get in this tormented state. I step back and see what is the issue, why is it making me feel the way I do, ask if I can do something about it, and then try to fix what I can. It is easier said than done.   A lot of people are lucky enough to know this and have t

Money, Honey

Let’s talk money, honey. This is an intense subject because not a lot of people like to talk about money. People feel weird about it. I think it is really important. Look, ultimately it is a free world, and you do what you want. I have read my share of personal finance books and I have learned to apply a little of everything to my life, I am happy with my little system. It works for me. Last thing I want to do is shove a theory or a formula down your throat like a delicious vegan-gluten free pastry. So just hang on, I promise you it’s a cute method. I want to start with the obvious, pay your fucking bills! You with me? Good.   Now that I cleared the air, lets get down to the fun stuff. Spend and save money. I told you it was cute, it’s short, simple, and no boring restraints. I am a true believer in having the ability to a high quality of life at any income level. The key to that comes from the cutie Marie Kondo. Keep what makes you happy, and refuse what doesn’t spark joy.

South Korea

Boy, did I have it wrong!   I have had the privilege to visit a lot of places in my lovely 26 year old journey on this planet. There has been the cute, the awesome, and the great places to see. I have a couple places that I thought were hard to beat. Well, let me tell you, South Korea falls in the Fucking Cool section. So far it has topped my list of nice places I’ve been.     In the spirit of list-making, here are things that I enjoyed, and now cannot not do it again in my life. I will screw you up with my double negatives.   *COFFEE!!!!!!! Omg! I did not find a bad coffee place.   *Food- it was delicious, unique, bold, and just plain awesome.   *Transportation-Their subway is clean, efficient, and smooth. *Skin Gods!- No joke, their attention to skin care is complex, beautiful, and they created their own culture. I learned so much, and took on their passion and now I practice it.     I can write you a novel on how much I enjoyed my time here. My only issue i

#HotBoySummer

Be young, be dope, be proud. These are the words I want on my Swarovski crystal-encrusted tombstone. Good day my sexy kittens! Today is another day slay. I am also here to tell you that I have noticed a trend going around. It is not new to many of you, it’s the preparation for summer vibes. I am talking about deliciously tanned and fit bodies ready to be sat next to a pool and look like a snack. I say, let’s look like a snack now. I always had a problem with feeling like I never was enough in the present, it led me to think that maybe one day in the future I will be hot, beautiful, successful, exciting, and even happy. It was always tomorrow. I never stopped to think it could be today, I simply just had to believe. Luckily, I have seen the errors in my believe system, and slowly started to create my own. So, fuck tomorrow and let’s focus on how gorgeous we are today. There is no need to wait to feel what you want to feel. You don’t have to wait till summer to show the
