It has taken me a lot of years to finally feel I can control my mind and my body. I am 26 years young and at last I have a sense of who I am, what I love, who I love, what I care for, and what I truly don’t. There is an unapologetic, happy, and gorgeous guy looking back at me in the mirror. I recognize the flaws and the strengths in my journey on this violently beautiful planet. There is a change in attitude in today’s post because I want to share with you where I stand. I had a horrendous week last week. I felt overwhelmed and anxious due to school and my progress towards my goals. I saw the mountain that I had to climb and panicked. In the past couple of years I learned to step back and see the big picture when I get in this tormented state. I step back and see what is the issue, why is it making me feel the way I do, ask if I can do something about it, and then try to fix what I can. It is easier said than done.
