Pre-Puerto Vallarta

Finally, On a Plane!

OMG! Y’all! I just cannot wait! Your boy, once again, will become international! Not only will I be on a plane, but I will be in tropical weather! I live in the desert and we just came out of the yearly dusty wind season. So I am very excited to be in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. And before you try and come for me, let me tell you that I have had my first vaccine, and will be receiving my last one days before the trip. My airline still practices social distance, therefore I will be even more safe. It’s obvi that my mask will not part from my face till I am in my room. I have visited in the past, but I didn’t share. I was going through something major and all I needed was privacy and bottomless mimosas. This time is different, I want to share because I know that Mexico is a great place to travel into, but the world has given Mexico a bad rep. Maybe it is bad, but in the best way possible! There are new coffee shops and restaurants that flourished in this pandemic and has popped up in my radar, so prepare for some delicious food porn. Last  time, I stayed at the all inclusive resort at the Hilton, but like I said, I needed to decompress. This time PV better be ready for me, because I am hitting the cobble stone streets and will find the best taco stand there is in town. The only thing touristy about me will be my American Amex (I know the word “American” is already in the name.) Well, just kidding because I am definitely will be going to Sayulita, a super trendy Boho surf town that is just too cute to not go to. Will I go on a date? Umm maybe not because of this Panda Express that we are in, yet again I am jet setting.

There are a few more places and cities and countries in my agenda, I am trying not to say too much because I don’t want to jinx it and also I don’t want to ruin the surprise. I really do hope that y’all put Mexico in your plans, because it is truly an amazing country. There are beautiful places for every type of traveler, there are the sporty travelers that will get their itch scratch with surf towns or swimming through underwater caves called cenotes. I am more of exploring amazing food places and trying local coffee shops and have my glow destroy tourist while shopping for new drip, which Mexico has all of that, and more. Maybe I’ll share a day from my itinerary for my next post, maybe I can write it on my flight there, because we love the working on a flight aesthetic.
