Battle of the SPFs

****Disclaimer! As long as you are wearing SPF, it doesn't matter which one is your favorite!

Luckily I have a good obsession, and that is to protect my dewy-glasslike skin! We all know the harms of the sun, and I am here to block dem death rays.

I am so grateful that we are gifted new formulas in sunscreens! Ugh! Remember when all we had were bottles with white goop that was sticky and felt so heavy and dense on the skin? It was the worst feeling to put it on, and that was just on vacation to the beach. Imagine for everyday use? Well, now sunscreen use on the daily is not as bizarre as it was back then. Companies have noticed its raise in use, therefore creating nicer formulas. The sunscreens I am reviewing are the ones I use on my face.

Neutrogena's Invisible Daily Defense Face Serum SPF 60+

OMG! This is a solid sunscreen! Affordable, light, and water resistant up to 80 minutes. I have combo skin and I sweat a lot, so it is consistent. It leaves me a little shiny, but if I dab my face with the back of my hands 15 minutes after, and it leaves a sheer finish.

Versed's Guards Up Daily Mineral Sunscreen SPF 35

I really wanted this one to work. It is a physical sunscreen with a tint. The moment I would put it on I would get irritated. It would sting around my mouth, corners of my nose, and around the eye area. Not only that but it also clumped up. I get oily on my T-zone and the occasional beads of sweat would feel like they were trapped underneath the formula. My heart hurts knowing that it is not for me, because I love Versed and the packaging was really cute.

                                           Aveno's Protect + Hydrate SPF 60

This is another drugstore sunscreen that I really wanted to work for me. It's so nice and hydrating, but it makes me really oily. I even tried it in the winter when my skin is the driest. Wow! in the next 30 minutes of application I looked like a glazed donut. Luckily it is so affordable that I now use this as a hand cream.

Innisfree Daily UV Defense Sunscreen SPF 36

This is my favorite sunscreen for casual mornings. We are talking about not leaving the house, or brief lunch run. Even if I don't leave the house I always wear sunscreen and this one is perfect because it is inexpensive and feels like a moisturizer. I wake up, splash my face with water and put on this sunscreen and BOOM! ready for the day.

Dr. Jart+'s Every Sun Day Sun Fluid SPF 50+

OMG! This baddie is my go to! She is light, she is cooling, she leaves a dewy finish, and she is water and sweat resistant. Of course she comes at a boujee price tag. I'll let you research it because I want you to focus on her beauty. She is so easy to apply, and the texture is like a cooling gel. I like to wear her on more special days. She has an elegant formula that is ready to be seen at brunches and wine tours. This one will forever have a place in my countertop, as long as I don't go broke ;)
